New Real Estate Reform Transitional Arrangements by 22 March 2021
Real Estate and Property Industry Reforms courses that began last 23 March 2020 will end on 22 March 2021.
Courses were meant to apply transitional arrangements allowing Class 2 agent licensees to shift to a Class 1 agent license. These transitional conditions were:
When agents hold a Class 2 license and immediately before 23 March 2020:
- held their license for two (2) years
- carried a business under the license
- was employed as the person to be in-charge of the business carried on the license at the place of business (licensee-in-charge)
If an agent is eligible for a Class 1 License and does not apply (or is not able to apply) by 22 March 2021, then one needs to meet the new qualifications, industry experience and requirements by the time of application for the Class 1 License.
